Reflection

 Hello Blog!

While working on this commercial, I learned quite a few things. I used the app “Capcut” to put everything together and make my commercial. I am new to using editing software so it was definitely a new experience because I do not usually use editing software to edit my pictures and videos. When I was using this app, I learned how to add a texts, fonts with effects, and audio into the edit (commercial). I had to use different pictures and videos to put all of this together. Editing the commercial was pretty easy because the app shows me what to do. I easily learned how to use the app because it is similar to other social media apps I have used before.

The process of making the commercial taught me many things. Putting the project all together was not hard. It taught me how to edit different files into one whole. It only required inserting pieces of media (photos and videos), adding text and music. The process did not take long. I was able to do my commercial in a short time period. Having all of the correct required files makes it easier to put the project all together. The last thing I learned about putting a project together is that it has to be appropriate and creative for the viewers.

I think I can make many improvements on my next project. In my commercial, I only used one font and similar animation styles for the writing. Next time I do another project I will use different fonts and animations on the words to make it more aesthetically pleasing and creative. Another thing I could improve in is the duration of the project. My commercial was about 30 seconds and I believe I could make it longer. I think it was only 30 seconds because I needed to use more pieces of media. I could also improve my creativeness. My commercial was kind of basic and next project I have I want to make it more creative. I will add more songs and pieces of media that grabs the viewers attention. For now, those are my improvements I believe I can achieve.

Until next time Blog!
