Producing the Final Task

Hello Blog! The opening sequence I was working on with Camila is almost finished. Almost everything went according to plan. We only had to do a few minor changes. In our story board, we described that we were going to do a plot twist at the end of the film. However, we were running out of time to continue filming so we decided to take the last scene that we were going to include out. The scene included me, the main character, being in a therapist's office. A dialogue between me and a therapists is shown. The dialogue shows my therapist interrogating me. In the scene I was supposed to have blood on my hands. The blood was supposed to represent the fact that I killed Camila. Since we removed this scene, we had more time to continue with the rest of the original story. The original story included me reliving a dream that I cannot seem to wake up from. We continued with this story with everything from it going according to plan. We ended up filming everything at Camila's house. To film everything, we used a professional camera and my phone. We only shot a few scenes with the professional camera, while the rest of the shots were filmed with my phone. The camera resolution on my phone gave the film a cinematic effect, which was very helpful to our filming production. Using my phone to record also made it easier to film each scene since its a small device, meaning we did not have a hard time carrying it. The professional camera and the phone made the production easier. Overall, I feel like the filming process was not too difficult. Until Next time Blog!
