 Hello Blog! The opening sequence I was working on with Camila is almost finished. Almost everything went according to plan. We only had to do a few minor changes. In our story board, we described that we were going to do a plot twist at the end of the film. However, we were running out of time to continue filming so we decided to take the last scene that we were going to include out. The scene included me, the main character, being in a therapist's office. A dialogue between me and a therapists is shown. The dialogue shows my therapist interrogating me. In the scene I was supposed to have blood on my hands. The blood was supposed to represent the fact that I killed Camila. Since we removed this scene, we had more time to continue with the rest of the original story. The original story included me reliving a dream that I cannot seem to wake up from.  Hello Blog! Camila and I came up with our film idea with a lot of inspiration. Camila and I are both horror film fans. Even though we like horror, we also enjoy suspense films. We have watched different and the same films. We thought of two possible pitches for our film. One of them was "A girl is having a dream and cannot wake up and keeps reliving the dream." The other pitch we thought about was "A crazy obsessed girl has a boy crush, turns out he is not real." We decided to use the pitch of "A girl is having a dream and cannot wake up and keeps reliving the dream."  Camila and I both decided that this film will not be difficult. Hey blog. Camila and I watched many movies and shows before planning our film.  We took a lot of inspiration from many films. Camila and I both have watched many horror and suspense movies for inspiration. Camila said she watched "X", "Pearl", and "Gone girl." She said these films have given her ideas on how we could make our film. She said the characters and the acting can guide us with the directing. I have watched "Get out", "Us", and "Joker." When I watched these films, I paid very close attention to the acting. The acting in these movies seemed serious. We want our film to be feel suspenseful. We're going to add many different sound effects. Another way we're going to make the film suspenseful is by choosing different camera angles. We are going to use many different angles. We want to create an auditory experience that enhances the tension and atmosphere of each scene. Camila and I came across various sound effects. We are still deciding which ones to use. Each sound effect we find is carefully selected to offer the desired emotions in the audience. Every sound we decide to include in the film contributes to the overall sense of suspense.  Hello again blog! Camila and I are still planning our editing for our film. Once we have all of the footage, editing will be a peace of cake for us. We have discussed what editing apps to use. Camila does not have much experience with editing. I will do most of the editing for the film. Camila will tell me her ideas on how to adjust and edit what is needed in the film. I have editing many videos in my past. I use different apps. I use tiktok, capcut, and instagram. All of these apps have different functions. They either add effects, sound, and they make videos able to be merged. We have the apps we need. When I collect the footage from my laptop, I will send them to my phone. Whenever I edit, I edit using my phone. When I use my phone to edit, I have easier access to files and different apps all at once.  Hey Blog! We already planned our filming. We have everything we need. To edit, we're going to need to put all the filming footage in a file. This will help keep everything in place. Since we are using my camera to record, I will transfer everything into my laptop when we have every clip we need. We will be creating a timeline by placing clips in sequential order according to the script and storyboard. We want to make sure everything's going according to the script. Camila and I will majorly focus on the shots and key plot points. Once we finish the first edit, we'll all take a look to make sure it's what we want. We brainstormed ideas together, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and movies we have watched. We both seem to know about filming. Since our film is a suspense film, we watched many movies in that category to study them. Every film we watched has a different storyline and plot. Not every suspense film is the same. We looked at various movies to get inspiration from each of them. Although many suspense movies seem to be horror, we are just adding suspense to it and not much horror. We discussed how to begin and produce the film. We were deciding between two pitch blogs.   Description- Sofia and Camila are having a conversation before Sofia goes to sleep. Description-Sofia wakes up not knowing she is still dreaming, continues on her regular day. Description- Sofia gets ready to go to her appointment while she is still dreaming. Description- Sofia realizes there is something strange going on and before she knows it she blacks out still confused about everything that is going on. Description- Sofia comes to and sees she's really in her therapists office and knows she's done something bad.

The opening credits of our film will appear in a digital/Italic font that appears to be "typed" into the middle of my screen. Working Title: The title of this film will likely be "Endless Dreaming" It will be in bold face font and in caps and will likely be in red : SOMETHING ALONG THIS  STYLE Titles will all be "typed" on to the screen. They will come as being typed and disappear with a fade. Titles will disappear after 4 or 5 seconds.  Schedule: 1/19/24- 1/20/24: Filming will begin. Me and my partner will both help with filming the best shots. The plan is to film scenes that have many creative and stylish shots so that the audience will find it pleasing. 1/21/24-1/22/24: This is when filming will be finalized, including scenes that may have a difficult time shooting. 1/23/24-1/24/24: Right after filming the editing process will begin almost immediately. Scenes will be put together and edited stylish. Location: We will be filming at Camila's house and neighborhood. (no answer from Camila) (she  grabs her phone and tries to call Camila but there are no contacts in her phone)  What in the world? what happened to my contacts? weird.  Maybe she just went out for groceries. Oh right my appointment. Location: Outside (Sofia walks out but there are no people to be seen) I'm going to be late for my appointment, I should leave right now. (she gets into her car and everything goes silent, she faints) (she wakes up again and relives the exact same dream and cannot seem to escape) Camera zooms out of frame focusing on Sofia, making her seem stuck in the dream forever

This can help with our final task as we can read the backstory about creating a a title sequence. This can also help us as they also give some advice about creating a title sequence which can really help us.
